I was referred to Peak Performance by my doctor, who knew I had the goal of running my first half marathon without getting injured.  I was helped out by Jim, who not only helped me find the correct shoe for my feet and gait, but went above and beyond in showing me strengthening exercises for my hips and glutes. I desperately needed a better pair of walking shoes. So while we were in Sioux City recently, I decided to check out peak performance. From the moment I went into the store, I was met with friendly, warm and knowledgeable help in finding a good pair of shoes. Found out I was wearing the wrong size and needed extra support since I am experiencing a lot of pain in my feet. I've never had an experience like this before. It was phenomenal! I absolutely enjoyed my experience there and I love my new shoes. They are definitely helping my feet feel better. I couldn't believe the difference a correctly sized and selected shoe would feel.  Jim and his amazing staff do a 5 point process to make sure the shoes have the correct support for you as an individual.  Won't go anywhere else after such a great experience. There are SO MANY things right with this shoe store!  It's hard for me to positively rave beyond the many other five star ratings so many have provided.  In my personal experience, I bought from Jim.  He and ALL his employees give outstanding customer service.  I feel like they treat me as a member of the family!  This is like my 5th pair of shoes over the last several years, only because I wear them out.  I have NEVER felt like Peak Performance just wants to sell shoes.  In fact, Jim has told tell me "Your old ones still have some life in them yet!"  I am positive there is NOT a better shoe store here in Sioux City, Iowa!!!
